Several days ago Samsung publicly said that the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab successors are going to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2011. The South Korean company is back with a teaser which says that the Samsung Galaxy S successor will be revealed at 6PM on February 13th, 2011.
MWC will open its doors to the public on February 14th while journalists will get access earlier. Anyway we’re pretty excited about the Samsung Galaxy S2 as it will most surely be powered by a dual-core Samsung processor and the uber-cool 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, while Verizon LTE support is unconfirmed for the moment.
The Galaxy S2 will be a lot cooler than the Samsung Infuse 4G because of the aforementioned specs as the latter is running on a 1.2GH single-core Hummingbird CPU, though it’s the first device to have a Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen.
If Samsung wants to beat iPad (and why not iPad 2) sales then it will have to put a Super AMOLED Plus display on the Samsung Galaxy Tab2, but let’s just wait for February 1st to come because the company promises another preview teaser on that date
