The movie lovers must be looking for fast and dependable, and of course, affordable Blu-ray players. For the 2011, Sony has made its commitment to provide the movie lovers with a variety of Blu-ray players with prices ranging from $150 to $250. At CES 2011, Sony began by introducing new Sony Blu-Players. Sony promises Internet video streaming, wireless multi-room Audio, Blu-ray 3D, and Wi-Fi features.
The full HD 1080p Blu-ray players include four models. The first is BDP-S780, BDP-S580, BDP-S480, and BDP-S380. In addition to the four stand-alone Blu-players, Sony also introduced the first portable Blu-ray disk player with a codename BDP-SX1000. It is different from the previous models in that it is equipped with a 10.1-inch WSVGA screen. Overall, the five Blu-ray player models offer the users with access to more than 40 free movies as well as premium movies, videos, and music. They are compatible with DVDs, CDs, and SACDS; they are also capable of converting 2D contents to 3D contents for facilitated access and video streaming.
The Blu-players are supported by BRAVIA Internet Video platform for unlimited internet access to the leading content providers, such as Netflix, Pandora, Amazon, YouTube, Crakle, HuluPlus, and many more. Of the four modes, BDP-S380 model will come first in February for about $150, then, BDP-S780 and BDP-S480 in March, and BDP-S780 model in April. The portable model will come in spring for about $300.
