Intel’s Sandy Bridge CPUs have successfully attracted the laptop retailers’ attention before its official release in CESS 2011 event. If Hp makes a preliminary start by launching Hp Pavilion dv6 in Singapore, ASUS is seemingly patient enough to wait for January 5th, 2011 to release its Sandy Bridge-supported laptops. However, ASUS does not want to make it halfway. It is reportedly going to release five Sandy Bridge laptops simultaneously.
The five Sandy Bridge laptops are going to target the gamers. ASUS begins with G73SW gaming laptop. The laptop hosts an Intel Core i7-2630QM processor, 8GB of DDR3, GeForce GTX 460M graphics, USB 3.0, a 17.3-inch LCD, and some standard features including USB3.0 ports and camera. The screen will project a 1920 x 1080 resolution. G73SW gaming laptop will be priced around $2,500. The four other laptops are also designed for the same purpose. They confirm the reputation of Sandy Bridge CPUs as the gaming GPUs.
The four game-oriented models are grouped into N53SV and N73SV series. They are also supported by the same 2GHz processor and new GeForce GT 540M processor. ASUS really makes a big breakthrough by launching horsepower laptops. The four other laptops will be priced at around $1,200. Next month will be a great month, and the laptop enthusiasts will celebrate the moment. ASUS has been prepared for the laptop war.
