This is all about style and size not performance. Also based on your personal preference, you might find it difficult to use for extended periods of time. I prefer bigger screens, an internal CD-DVD-Blu-Ray, and the docking for this laptop is a joke, you have to use the adapter for the laptop itself for power making the docking station nothing more than a port replicator or a USB hub. Display port video out is a joke, if you are going to use this with peripherals such as projectors make sure to get the right cable, do not get the disp port to VGA or any other analog converter because it will not look right unless it is a live cable. HP should have just paid TI licensing fee of 20-30 per laptop and should have used HDMI.
