Worlds largest Mobile Phone maker Nokia introduces 4 new low-cost handsets Nokia 2690, Nokia 1800, Nokia 1616 and Nokia 1280 under its entry level mobile phones range in Indian market.
These new Mobile Phones equipped with all popular multimedia features such as access to the Internet/GPRS, Music with 3.5 mm Audio Visual connector, Long lasting Battery (up to 22 days battery standby time), Flashlight, Dust Resistant keypad, Anti-scratch cover, Multiple phone books, Speaking clock in several local languag etc.
The price range of these handsets starts from just Rs. 1200 to Rs. 2749.
The Nokia 2690, Nokia 1800 and Nokia 1616 also offers Nokia Life Tools as an SMS-based Value Added Service (VAS) that gives consumers access to locally relevant agriculture information and also helps them learn English.
Speaking on the launch of New Handsets, Mr.Chandan Dang, Regional General Manager,Nokia India also announced that company all set to launch its new Mobile Phone series known as ’Nokia X’ and ‘Nokia C’ within this quarter in India to widen its handset portfolio as customers budget and market needs.
Under the Nokia C and Nokia X series company designed to put better messaging and social networking tools in the hands of more people around the world, at affordable prices.
The distinction between the two is getting ever smaller; all that separates them these days is the size of the screen and the ability to make a phone call.
