Do you want to buy a Laptop but don’t know how to, don’t worry we’ll help you out. Buying a new Laptops or Notebook Computers might get difficult for you if you are not familiar with them.

You first have to decide if all the latest technology is important for you?

Do you really need all new notebook technology? But first you have to figure out why you want a Laptop? Why are you buying it? What tasks you want to perform on your laptop?

RAM

RAM or Random Access Memory is perhaps the most important factor to consider when buying your laptop or any computer. The speed of your laptop or computer is greatly determined by RAM.

You must have to make sure that you have enough RAM so that it can process your tasks and graphics rapidly. You can now find many laptops pre-loaded with 1 Gig of RAM and capable of upgrading to 4 Gigs or more.

Also to mention that if you are gaming fan, Video RAM will be important and you need a top line Graphics Card which will increase your laptop’s cost. I advise you to buy a laptop with upgradeable memory - since new applications, multi windowed browsers, streaming video...of the very near future may place high demand on your laptop's RAM.

Dual Core Processors

CPU is the heart of your laptop and in this case you have Two Hearts - Intel Centrino Duo is most common today. However, AMD is also giving some tough competition for Intel in the dual core battle by launching Athlon™ 64 X2 dual core processor. You can choose between both of them.

Palm Peak – Sprint 4G Design

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.The iPhone 4  and Palm Pre met half way and the Palm Peak concept was born with the aid of designer Steve Lipson. Before we detail the device, we’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and wish the best of luck to the designers who helped us create this wonderful website.

Palm Peak is supposed to be the thinnest sliding phone, with a mere 10mm thickness level. The handset is made from a block of brushed aluminum alloy, making the Peak a very resilient and elegant piece of machinery and also avoiding any possible signal issues. The display on board is a LED IPS one with a 3.8 inch diagonal and a 960 x 640 pixel resolution.

At the back there’s a 5MP camera with LED flash and support for 720p HD video capture. Palm Peak’s battery provides 45 hours of audio and 11 hours of video playback with a single charge. This is a webOS 2.0 device we’re dealing with, one that comes with a Swype keyboard, 4G WiMAX and 3G EVDO support.

There’s even a price tag imagined for the device, but remember that THIS IS NOT A REAL PHONE! Only a design, concept, whatever…

 The antenna issue of the iPhone 4 is legendary and making light of the situation is the Icon iPhone Case with its not-so-subtle antenna extension! Multiple OS’s on a Smartphone

The Smartphone market is definitely going to be more competitive in 2011 with five platforms competing for the crown, but designers Michal Bonikowski and Rafal Pilat feel there’s no need to choose just one so they’ve come up with three concepts sure to appease most of you. Project one is an HTC model that can run multiple operating system (not gonna happen) but an intriguing idea nonetheless. I’d actually go for a phone like that. Projects 2 and 3 are more standard fare. Hit the jump

Project 1. Dual or Triple OS? Why not?
Here’s a take on a platform that would be perfect for running different operating systems. The concept sports an extra touch display situated under the main screen. This extra screen could be used either to display notifications of be used for specific OS buttons (e.g. home, search etc.).
Project 2. A Windows Phone 7 concept
Smooth curvy lines, contrasting yet complementary materials used for different body parts. Satin aluminium shell + painted aluminium for the back covers. Firm grip, large 4” screen.
Project 3. A Windows Phone 7 Nokia
There’s nothing better than a feeling of holding something “real” and not another plastic toy – which unfortunately  is all too common. The case is made of magnesium alloy.

Frustrated with the lack of quality of Symbian, even in its latest versions people started dreaming about running Android or Windows Phone 7 on Nokia handsets. Right now we’ve got a poster in London showing Nokia devices running Android, but that was an error of the people making the posters… Now let’s see how Windows Phone 7 looks on a Finnish smartphone!

Considering that Nokia’s current CEO was a Microsoft official, it wouldn’t be impossible for future N-Series units to adopt this platform. The following phone is the created of Michal Bonikowski & Rafal Pilat and we’re dealing with magnesium alloy handset running WP7 and featuring an 8MP camera at the back.

The design reminds us of a HTC device, but it also borrows a few traits from Nokia’s trademark back case. Well, we can imagine that this is the Nokia N9 and WP7 got ported on it… right?
