Pentax Optio RS 1500 Customizable Camera

Pentax announced its second generation customizable digital camera, the Optio RS1500 that is the successor to the Optio RS1000. The cosmetically customizable camera features a new removable PENTAX-original faceplate system with a no-hassle screwless faceplate design and interchangable lens ring snap  to hold custom skins of any personal choice or design.

The 14 Megapixel RS1500 sports a 4x optical zoom lens with 27.5mm wide angle and a 3-inch LCD display. It features advanced automatic Face Detection AF&AE function; Auto Picture mode to automatically select the most appropriate shooting mode for a given subject or scene; nine digital filters including Toy Camera, Retro and Sepia; and 1280x720p video recording capability.

The lightweight, credit card-sized Pentax Optio RS1500 comes with a choice of 10 included skins, and a new, removable lens ring in a choice of two colors. It comes in peral white and silver and will be available in April 2011 at $149.95

Lady Gaga introduces Camera Glasses

LAS VEGAS: Lady Gaga introduced her new line of Grey Label products for Polaroid at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. These products include sunglasses embedded with cameras and photo printers that can fit in a purse.
Grey Label allowed Lady Gaga, who is now a creative director for the company, to design the frames for the
Polaroid GL20 image-capturing sunglasses, which stores photos on a chip inside an earpiece. The GL10 Instant Mobile Printer, which she takes to bars with her in her purse, connects to phones via Bluetooth and prints 3-by-4-inch pictures on the go.
