We have to admit, this is one stylish notebook.  It uses two colors, black on the outside and silver on the inside, making it look professional and business-like. Even if it has a small size, the keyboard takes advantage of every inch and fits just right inside. Keys are wide and very nicely spaced, typical for <strong>Acer notebooks</strong>, making typing comfortable and enjoyable. There are no media control keys, just a single shortcut key that can launch any application or function you want. The touch pad is a tad smaller, but if you get the right touch you make scrolling a lot faster.  Now for the display, it has a 1366x768 pixels resolution and it is right for web surfing, documents, watching some movies. The screen is pretty bright, clear and all accompanied by the Dolby Home Theater speakers.

Being a travel companion more, this Acer Time line X notebook might benefit from the lack of the optical drive, in some cases you might not even need one and if you would have to choose between one and a slim and stylish profile, I think you would go for the design.
